We are looking for a project buyer for investment projects for an assignment in Stockholm.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The assignment and areas of work

It is the client that ensures that the people of Stockholm stay warm and comfortable all year round, while also improving the cycles and reducing greenhouse gases. The client's district heating has been crucial in helping the people of Stockholm halve their climate emissions in recent decades, and today they are almost at 90 percent renewable or recycled energy. However, they believe that is not enough. Their goal is 100 percent.

To succeed, they have an offensive investment and maintenance portfolio. Here, exciting and challenging projects are created that a project buyer can contribute to.

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

They are looking for someone with sufficient experience in investment projects, construction procurement, as well as broad competence and experience in land/construction – AMA – bill of quantities. Having strong self-leadership and being largely self-sufficient in both large and small matters is very important. In combination with this, it is crucial to enjoy working together in a team and continuously establish common plans and goals that you then ensure to deliver against.

Within the role, there will be both large (+50MSEK) and small procurements (+1MSEK) to manage. They have an expected main area that is distribution networks, i.e., a lot of land/construction, pipe work, welding, purchasing of pipe materials & valves.

The following tasks are included among others in the role:

· You will work and drive the purchasing part in investment projects – primarily focusing on distribution. This means taking an active role from the start, with the goal of ensuring quality from suppliers and deliveries as well as profitable deals.

· You also ensure sufficient time for the procurement process and have a responsibility to flag at project startup if that is not the case.

· You have experience and competence regarding construction law, AB/ABT, AMA.

· As a project buyer, you will keep the overall picture during the purchasing phase where several project members and stakeholders participate in the purchasing work with purchasing strategy, tender documents, contracts with attachments, or call-off contracts against framework agreement terms. As a buyer, you are responsible for these documents.

· You take responsibility and initiative to ensure that the purchasing work in the project is the best possible and follows the timeline.

· You are responsible for drafting tender documents and contract drafts as well as documenting other procurement documents that are part of the purchasing and investment process. Technical attachments are the responsibility of the project.

· You partially procure in competition but largely against existing framework agreements.

· You contribute to the link between suppliers' knowledge base and the project.

· You convey a good network and have control over the supplier market within the areas where the procurements and call-offs take place.

· You seek purchasing strategies that contribute to business benefits and quality assurance.

· You are passionate about achieving the best results and savings. Savings are recorded as KPIs in purchasing.

· You negotiate contracts with suppliers, meaning you have good insight and experience working with law and contracts.
